Dive Team
Welcome to the Old Farm Dive Team (OFDT)! Once the pool opens for the 2012 season, please check your email and the Dive Team Bulletin Board located outside the guard shack for regularly updated information. We mainly communicate via e mail with weekly updates, meet information, and pool/practice closings – so check your spam filters!

The fee this year is $100 per diver. However, we are offering a bundled discount if you also join the swim team, in which case the fee to join both teams is $175 (versus the normal $200). It is important to remember that the level of commitment is expected to be equal for each team if you join both. The fee is payable by cash or check.
Practices:
The first practice will follow the pool opening- check back for more details! Practices are held from 5-7 PM daily and divers are encouraged to attend for one hour as many days as possible. Weather may delay or cancel practice, so if in doubt- call the pool!

- July 8- Regency Estates at Old Farm
- July 15- Old Farm at Seven Locks
- July 20- Robin Hood Invitational
- July 22- Division Championships, location TBA
- July 25- MCDL All-Stars (12 & under), location TBA
- July 26- MCDL All-Stars (13-18), location TBA
Parent Participation:
Dive meets require several parent volunteers from each team. Some jobs require certification, but other jobs can be quickly mastered by a rookie! We will provide a volunteer training for parents early in the season. We encourage all our parents to volunteer at every meet and to take the MCDL-sponsored training for Judges and Referees.
MCDL Referee/Judge Training-2012
The training certification is valid for three seasons. Registration is not required. Dates and location will be posted as soon as that information is available from MCDL.
We look forward to the Old Farm Swim Club members continuing support of our team by volunteering at meets and cheering on the team. We are looking forward to a fun-filled season.
