Old Farm Pool is Closed for Hurricane Irene Clean-up
Although there is no damage to the pool, like most of our neighborhood, there are lots of branches and yard waste that must be cleaned from the pool and deck area before we can re-open.
2011 Closing Week Schedule
It is hard to believe that the 2011 pool season is coming to a close. Below is the schedule for our final week of the 2011 season as well as a reminder to please check the Lost and Found shelves as all items will either be dontate or thrown away once the season ends.

Early Morning Lap Swimming Will Continue Until August 26th – If you support us!
Back by popular demand (we hope!). We will continue to offer early morning lap swimming on Monday-Wednesday-Friday until August 26th from 5:45am-7:15am.
We must have a minimum of 7 participants…
The cost per person will be only $25 for the entire period (cost covers all 6 sessions). Mina Erickson, who has been training our Master Swimmers will continue to oversee the Master swimmers and watch any others who want to come up and swim a few laps before going to work. Please bring your cash or check (made out to Old Farm Pool) with you on Monday morning when you sign in.
You Ready to Pick Crab?
Old Farm Pool is planning a cooperative crab feast. What is that? We will get crabs to the pool, but would expect help with set-up, clean up, and drinks/sides from all participants.
The 2 dates are a Monday or Tuesday, August 15 or 16. This is because we expect the price to be less on these days, as opposed to Friday or Saturday prices.
This is not intended as a money maker, just a ice chance to get together and partake in a local tradition. In order to work this out, we need a real number of who is wanting to participate and commit to coming. Kids 9 and over count as one eater.
Please think about this, and send your name and number of pickers to conniej23@yahoo.com. Comments are welcome.
